The Making of the RAT IN THE SKULL Community Play Project by the Curtain Down Players Repertory Theatre Company Jessica and Steven Hinkle, co-Artistic Directors When you take a class on Irish Drama at Indiana University, you never realize you'd create some of your best work. Together with my MFA Acting colleague Matthew Murry, we created a probably-too-long mockumentary about a small town theatre company and their troubles mounting a production of The Rat in the Skull. Christopher Guest, eat your heart out.

Though the cast as a whole succeeded in communicating the intricacies of the story through the potential barrier of the language, the best instance of illustrated Shakespeare was Chris J. Handley’s rendition of the Porter’s scene.
